Self-Pay & Insurance
We are an out-of-network provider, which means we don't accept insurance directly. For your convenience, we accept debit, credit, and HSA/FSA cards through our secure, HIPAA-compliant online system.
While we don't bill insurance, some companies offer out-of-network reimbursement. We can provide you with a Superbill—a detailed receipt you can submit for potential reimbursement. To understand your benefits, please contact your insurance provider directly before scheduling.
Choosing to use insurance for therapy comes with trade-offs. It often means:
-
Less Privacy: Insurance companies require access to your treatment notes and a formal diagnosis.
-
A Diagnosis Is Required: A mental health diagnosis is necessary for reimbursement, even if you don't fully meet the criteria, which can create a permanent label.
-
Limited Care: Insurance companies can restrict the type and duration of treatment, limiting our ability to offer a personalized approach tailored to your unique needs.
For these reasons, we believe your care should be guided by your needs, not by insurance company rules.

You'll always have a clear understanding of our fees. We provide a Good Faith Estimate in writing or verbally upon request, or at the start of our services. This ensures there are no surprise charges or hidden fees.
